Who is The Most Travelled Bond?

With the release of the new James Bond film ‘Spectre’, long haul travel specialist Hayes and Jarvis has created an interactive website that maps Bond’s journeys from across the previous 24 films to determine the true ‘International Man of Mystery’.

Unsurprisingly, with seven Bond films under his belt, Sir Roger Moore is the clear winner travelling 305,516 miles (with or without including the 238,855 miles he traveled to space in ‘Moonraker’!).

Daniel Craig is however nipping at his heels for the title with the recent ‘Spectre’ movie with visits to London, Austria and Rome, along with his 48,742 miles already journeyed.

Pierce Brosnan comes in at 3rd with 36,451 miles to his name, meanwhile Sean Connery is at 4th with 30,815 miles and Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby and David Niven trailing behind.

James Bond has been a national treasure since 1953, when the world was introduced to the fictional secret service agent 007 by author Ian Fleming. Twelve books, nine short stories and over 20 films later, the Bond franchise is one of the most successful in the world coming second only to the Harry Potter films and books.
The website features the various destinations each Bond actor traveled to, as well as calculating the exact distance and time to each of these and the spy-worthy activities you can embark on at each location.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
