Stallone Not Involved in Rambo TV Series

Well if I were 20th Century Fox I would just shut this terrible idea down right now; the idea of Rambo and son was awful from the start but now to have a Rambo TV show without Stallone’s involvement is somewhere no fan wants to go.

Deadline is reporting that “the proposed Rambo: New Blood TV series for Fox will not include the actor who originated the role and has played it in every movie in the franchise. Despite being listed as an executive producer in the credits for the projects by the entities involved, Stallone and his reps told Deadline that will not be the case. “Contrary to reports, Sylvester Stallone has opted not to participate in the planned Rambo television series in any way at all,” a spokesperson for Stallone said. Added Stallone, “I wish the others well with the project.”

To quote Krusty the Clown: “CANCEL IT!”

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
