Con Air to Screen at Secret Location

Everyone knows Con Air is one of my favourite movies; the music, the one liners and the cast are all spot on; if you live in Glasgow, Scotland (my hometown) the classic actioner will be playing at a secret location courtesy of the Glasgow Film Theatre.

‘They somehow managed to get every creep and freak in the universe onto this one plane. And then somehow managed to let them take it over.’

America’s most dangerous criminals are being transported together on a prison aeroplane. What could possibly go wrong?

This screening is held in a top secret location (sorry, it’s need-to-know only) and audience members will be put through their convict paces: collected at GFT, assigned a uniform, handcuffed to a partner for security reasons, and loaded onto the prison bus for transportation. Prisoners in line, STAT – and dress warmly, because who knows where you’ll land…

Director: Simon West
Cast: Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, John Malkovich
USA 1997, 1h56m, 18

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
