Frank Stallone’s Reaction to the Oscars

I think we were all surprised when the Best Supporting Actor announcement came along at The Oscars last night and it wasn’t Sylvester Stallone.

We all know he deserved it but instead it went to Mark Rylance for Bridge of Spies. Admittedly he was very good in that movie but personally I preferred Stallone’s role as Rocky Balboa in Creed.

Frank Stallone gave his very honest response to the snub on Twitter saying “The Academy should be ashamed of themselves. It’s as clear as the nose on your face that Sly won. Mark who? It’s total Hollywood bullshit.”

Sly’s response was a little calmer where he stated “To all the “real Rocky’s” of the world, Please hang on to your dreams, NEVER GIVE IN , NEVER GIVE OUT , NEVER GIVE UP! thanks for the support.”

Don’t worry Sly, we still love you… now how about that Hard R Expendables 4…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
