Headhacker: Short Action Film

Headhacker was created by Glenn Harris  as a university project and was filmed over a weekend.

Check out the full synopsis and short film below.

FULL SYNOPSIS: England 2025: When a new political party swept into the UK in 2016, many of the population felt them to be just the breath of fresh air the nation was looking for. Elected into power in 2020, the New Millennia Party established its totalitarian regime immediately, completely neglecting the so-called promises it had made to the British public during their political campaign. Backed by immense wealth and private military groups, the new government soon put a stop to those that resisted their politics, be it through force or the threat of it.

Despite the radical reforms, many amongst the British public could not help but appreciate a government that could actually get things done and, for the most part, the average, law-abiding citizen was sufficiently looked after and respected by those in power. However, the militarisation of the country’s law enforcement meant that organised criminals, should they be resourceful enough, could more easily acquire armaments. Consequently, after a brief period of uneasy peace, numerous mercenary gangs rose up, presenting a formidable challenge for the New Millennia Party. The inability to, and almost ignorance towards, handling these criminal groups often led to theorisation of conspiracy and corruption between the criminals and the government itself, though nothing was proven with any real certainty.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
