Stephen Lang Wants to Play Cable

Stephen Lang (Avatar, Gridlocked) took to his Twitter page over the weekend to announce his interest in playing Cable in a sequel to Deadpool.

This isn’t recent news as he has been a favourite for the role for a long time.

He really does look the part and I think it’s a role he’s born to play as you can see from our main profile picture above.

So who is Cable?

Well, apparently Cable (Nathan Summers) is most commonly associated with X-Force and the X-Men. Nathan Summers is the adult son of the X-Man Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey’s clone), and the half brother of Rachel Summers, from a possible future timeline, having being transported as an infant to the future, where he grew into a warrior, before returning to the present.

Good thing that’s not super confusing…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
