Wait, Death Race is Getting Remade AGAIN?!

Yes, children you read that right, according to Deathstroke himself, Manu Bennett has signed on to star in an all new reboot of Death Race 2000.

He said on his Facebook Excited to be travelling to Lima, Peru, today to start filming the remake of the 1970’s cult classic “Death Race”. I am especially excited to have the opportunity to revive the leading role of Frankenstein, originally played by David Carradine. The project is being produced by Universal & the film’s original Producer, Roger Corman. Let the Death Race begin!!!!”

Last I heard there was a fourth Death Race movie in development which wasn’t connected to the other three so perhaps this is it; as long as it isn’t the same bloody story again. I’m a big fan of Manu Bennett though who stole the show on Arrow; sadly it never really recovered since he left it if we’re being honest.

Anyway, we’ll let you know more when we find out further details…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
