Trailer for Michael Worth’s The Butterfly Guard

Michael Worth starred in a few martial arts flicks in the past like Acapulco Heat, Fists of Iron, To Be The Best and US Seals 2.

Now he’s back with a martial arts drama about two fighters as they make the journey from opposite ends of the world to fight each other and the realizations they face along the way.

The announced cast includes Worth, Tim Thomerson, MMA veteran Justin Mccully and Ivan Sergei (Once a Thief).

The first look at the film teases at the more serious dramatic tone of the feature, a detour from the usual “forced-to-fight” story lines in the genre.

The movie is written and directed by Worth; no word on a release date as yet.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
