Will Friedle at the Toronto Comic Con 2016

When visiting a convention, sometimes you don’t really know what to ask an actor or actress without sounding too much like a fanboy or in my case, a fangirl.  This is especially true when meeting them one on one instead of being part of the crowd during a panel.

However, I’m sure that we all have that one question you’ve always wanted answered if you ever got the chance to ask it.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Will Friedle, known as the voice of Terry McGinnis/Batman from Batman Beyond and currently voicing Peter Quill/Star Lord in Marvel’s animated version of Guardians of the Galaxy.

I asked him what it was like working with Kevin Conroy on Batman Beyond and he said “Every day I would go into work with Kevin and everyone…and I would end up thinking that today I’m going to be fired because I was the new guy coming into an established team.”

I also asked if he would return to voicing Batman? He said “Yes.  Of course yes.

Simple, honest answers from a person who you could tell was as much as a fan of a DC icon as you are.
