Wolf Warrior 2 is in Production!

Last year’s Wolf Warrior starring Scott Adkins and Jacky Wu Jing was an entertaining (if not amazing) actioner about a special forces soldier, known for his marksmanship, who must battle a group of foreign mercenaries hired to slay him by a drug lord.

Asian Film Strike has announced that a sequel is currently in production and will once again star Jacky Wu Jing and Yu Nan.

I imagine Scott Adkins won’t return for obvious reasons but apparently Wolf Warrior II will be set in a war-torn African country.

So far, the only confirmed new cast addition is Olympic gymnast Zou Kai. There are also plans to make Wolf Warrior into a trilogy.
