Bar Fight from Above the Law (1988)

What better way to celebrate Sensei Seagal’s 64th birthday than to pay tribute to one of his very best movies: Above the Law.

Plot: A martial-arts expert and former CIA agent, Nico Toscani (Steven Seagal) is working as a Chicago cop when a relatively routine drug-trafficking investigation leads to an international conspiracy. Soon Nico and his partner, Delores “Jax” Jackson (Pam Grier), are the targets of mysterious and powerful criminals, but he refuses to back down. As Nico gets deeper into the case, he must contend with an old adversary: corrupt CIA operative Kurt Zagon (Henry Silva).

Few things compare to Seagal beating the crap out of bar patrons; whether they deserve it or not is irrelevant.

In this scene (as usual) he is looking for information on a missing person but the foolish mortals refuse to play ball and answer him.

They just don’t learn do they? So it’s up to our hero Nico Toscani to teach them some damn respect.

Keep an eye out for an early role from Michael Rooker.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
