Statham to Punch Giant Shark in the Face?

Action hero Jason Statham is reportedly in talks to star in giant shark movie Meg.

According to Deadline “The Jon Turbeltaub-directed movie Meg has a big shark, and now it has a big star.

Jason Statham is in negotiations to star in the adaptation of the novel of the same name that Warner Bros is moving forward with in conjunction with China-based Gravity. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing along with Belle Avery and Colin Wilson.

The script for Meg was written by Dean Georgaris. Meg is about an attempt to kill a giant shark killing swimmers along the China coast.

They figure out it’s Megaladon, considered one of the largest and most powerful predators in history, can reach a maximum length of 60 feet.

I am so down for this I can’t even describe it.

We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
