We’re Getting 4 Avatar Sequels?

That’s not a typo… FOUR! I don’t even care about one sequel; sure Avatar was pretty looking and an entertaining watch but it didn’t need a sequel and it’s been so long since the original that would anyone even care?

Also, isn’t it a bit presumptuous to have FOUR sequels lined up? Maybe they should wait to see if Part 2 is a success.

According to Coming Soon “James Cameron was at Cinemacon and revealed that instead of the previously-reported three movies, there will now be four sequels!

Cameron confirmed that each of the sequels are designed to stand on their own as individual stories, but will “form a complete saga” together.”

Personally I’d be far more interested in Cameron teaming up with Arnold for True Lies 2 or something.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
