Action Movie Music: One Man Force (1989)

David Michael Frank was a composer who could add electric guitar flavoured greatness to any old-school action movie.

He scored Best of the Best 2, Hard to Kill, Out for Justice, Above the Law, Street Knight, Showdown in Little Tokyo and many more but One Man Force remains one of my favourites.

It’s just so damn epic that it makes me want to bench press a car the punch the moon in the face.

The movie starred the late great John Matuszak who plays an L.A. cop that speeds off to get revenge upon the dirty drug-dealing dogs who killed his partner.

Check out the classic theme tune below and prepare to walk away from explosion in slow motion for the rest of the day.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone.
