Envoy Proof of Concept Short Film

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this before but it’s a Proof of Concept short film for a sci-fi actioner from 2014 and it’s a love letter to the science fiction and action movies of the 80’s and 90’s.

The Alien creature design is a mixture of the Predator (the dreadlocks and sound effects) and Iron Man.

This is one of the best Proof of Concepts I’ve seen and I see real potential; hopefully it gets made into a full movie.

It is the story of a troubled young boy who befriends a deadly alien creature, and embarks on a life changing journey.

Writer/Director David Weinstein and his team combined traditional film-making techniques with cutting-edge visual effects and animation to meticulously craft the nine-minute short film.  The goal is to introduce the story and concept of ENVOY to fans and financiers while demonstrating the teams ability to craft high-budget content for a fraction of the cost.

Starring: WILL SPENCER, JAYSON ZIEGENHAGEN, PAUL THOMAS ARNOLD, MURDOCK TIMMONS, ELIJAH ALLEN-BLITZ
