Bryan Mills: The Ultimate Action Movie Dad

There are plenty of awesome dads in action movies; John McClane in the Die Hard series, Arnie in True Lies, Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon and many more.

As it’s Father’s Day I thought I would pay tribute to one of the more recent badasses: Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills in Taken.

He is a retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills as we all know and when some human trafficking scumbags decide to kidnap his daughter while she is on vacation in Paris he threatens to “tear down the Eiffel Tower” to find her.

He comes across as over-protective at first but when his daughter is taken he is proven correct and has taught us all one important lesson. Never go anywhere. Ever.

Happy Father’s Day everyone.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
