1980s Action Movies Trailer Compilation

A big thank you to Geoff Thompson for taking the time to put this epic trailer collection together and sending it to us; it features nearly 80 minutes of classic action movie trailers from the 1980’s, the golden age of the genre.

Here’s a note from Geoff about the collection: A series of trailers of action movies from the 1980s, ranging from vigilante-thrillers to buddy-cop movies to one man army shoot-em-ups and more. Stars featured are Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Mel Gibson, Charles Bronson, Chuck Norris and more. I apologise for the poor quality on several of the trailers, sometimes finding higher quality versions was difficult.

While some are ripped from my own personal Blu-rays, I also give credit to these following YouTube channels for providing these:

FilmTrailersChannel, Forever Cinematic Trailers, JohnVexer, Movieclips Trailer Vault, Nick B, Paramount Movies, rungassamydonovan47, Shout! Factory, SlyitalianVideo, SynapseFilms, TrailerCraze, TrailersPlaygroundHD, The Baltimore Movie Trailer Park, thecultbox, theparallaxreview, Warner Bros.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
