Confrontation Theme from Thief (1981)

Thief may well be my favourite Michael Mann film; James Cann is fantastic in it but as with all Mann films where would they be without some classic music?

The score to Thief was provided by Tangerine Dream who were one of the most influential bands from the 80’s except the best track is from the very end of the film called “Confrontation” and it’s by Craig Safan.

It’s unbelievably epic Pink Floyd style electric guitars insist that you walk away from an explosion in slow motion preferably while smoking a cigar.
