Martial Arts Sensation Paul Mormando Takes On The Mob In “Bound By Debt”

Principal photography is underway in New York on the new action film Bound By Debt starring Martial Arts Sensation Paul Mormando and Bobby Ciasulli ( Real Housewives of New Jersey), under the direction of Anna Mormando in her directorial debut.

Mormando plays Dylan James a rough and tough underground fighter who is estranged from his family. Robert James (Bobby Ciasulli) is an addicted gambler with a wife and two daughters (Nikki Silva) and (Alexis Mormando). When Dylan can no longer fulfill his obligations to the mob, Mob Boss Mr. Russo (Samuel DiFiore) uses Robert’s gambling addiction and family as leverage against Dylan. The two brothers will have to reunite to save themselves and Robert’s family.

Mormando who also serves as a producer, says the action scenes will be his best work to date as he has cast real life martial artists to fulfill the roles instead of actors,  John Thomas who serves as Casting Director and Associate producer for the film has done a great job in bringing some of New York’s best actors to this project.

Filming for Bound by Debt should conclude by late fall, just in time for the AFM.
