Mechanic Dominates Chinese Box Office!

The Jason Statham sequel Mechanic: Resurrection may have had a lukewarm North American box office but it looks like China loves their actioners as the movie has made $24 million in its first three days.

With a budget of around $40 million and the international gross of approximately $81 million (so far) it looks like the sequel could turn a tidy profit.

Resurrection felt like an old school PM Entertainment movie which were the massively enjoyable 90`s B movies we grew up watching and is one of the reasons why I enjoyed this movie so much.

The Stath said in an interview when the movie came out “We try to give the fans what they want; let’s make a movie, have some fun doing it, visit some nice countries and give people 90 minutes of entertainment.”

Works for me and I am in 100% if we get a part three.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
