JCVD & Dolph Lundgren are in ‘Black Water’

Well how’s this for a Happy New Year? Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren are set to reunite in a new submarine action thriller called ‘Black Water’. The plot is about a deep cover operative who awakens to find himself imprisoned in a CIA black site on a submarine.

You can see early artwork below and despite earlier reports Dolph is actually not a villain and the two are allies; this looks like something a little different for our action heroes so I’m looking forward to getting more details on the project.

It’s written by Chad Law (Six Bullets, Daylight’s End) with filming set to begin in January 2017. Early word is some filming will take place in Mobile, Alabama. We’re awaiting confirmation on who the director will be and will update as soon as we know more.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
