NBC’s TAKEN Series Lands Its First Teaser

Showrunner Alexander Cary’s Taken is on par for a series premiere this February on NBC, inspired by the hit film trilogy from EuropaCorp and 20th Century Fox. The teaser is finally here and it offers just enough to get us curious about what an origin story entails with actor Clive Standen (Vikings) taking the reigns as Bryan Mills and needless to say, it doesn’t disappoint.

From Executive Producer Luc Besson (“Taken,” “The Fifth Element”) comes a thrilling new addition to his iconic blockbuster action-film franchise. This new, modern-day, edge-of-your-seat thriller follows the origin story of younger, hungrier, former Green Beret Bryan Mills (Clive Standen, “Vikings”) as he deals with a personal tragedy that shakes his world. As he fights to overcome the incident and exact revenge, Mills is pulled into a career as a deadly CIA operative, a job that awakens his very particular, and very dangerous, set of skills.,

The cast includes Clive Standen, Jennifer Beals, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Gaius Charles, Michael Irby, James Landry Hébert and Jose Pablo Cantillo.

Alexander Cary serves as writer and executive producer. Luc Besson, Matthew Gross, Edouard de Vésinne, Thomas Anargyros and Director Alex Graves also executive produce. “Taken” is produced by EuropaCorp TV and Universal Television.

The series airs on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10pm EST/9pm central. Watch the teaser below!
