Fist of the Dragon Contest and Final Widescreen Awards Details

Although the Widescreen Award Show Yacht is sold out, there are a few individual tickets left for sale at the 3rd annual Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival. With 669 entries, this year’s Widescreen Fest is crammed full of talent and over 100 projects will be shown. The films screen Saturday February 18th at the AMC theater in Aventura, Florida. Also at the AMC theater will be the Pre-Award Show.

During that show the awards will include Best Trailer, Best Music Video, and Best Sound Design. In all, 17 awards will be handed out on Saturday, and the main awards,  like best actress, director and picture will be handed out on Sunday on The South Beach Lady Yacht. 

In addition to the festivities there will be a Friday presentation with Shoreline Entertainment at the Sawgrass Grand Hotel. The workshop will cover tips on selling and marketing your film. To buy individual tickets, go to

To celebrate the 5 award nominations of Fist of the Dragon and the attendance of star Juju Chan and director Antony Szeto I have two copies of the Thai DVD release of Fist of the Dragon. The winner will also get the DVD autographed!
