Mel Gibson to Direct Suicide Squad 2?

Apparently Warner Bros. want Mel Gibson to direct Suicide Squad 2. I doubt that would happen but an interesting choice; he’s one of the best directors out there and I’d love to see him directing a blockbuster like this but didn’t Gibson say recently he isn’t interested in superhero movies?

The fact he was an outsider in Hollywood for a few years up until the success of Hacksaw Ridge kinda makes him the perfect candidate to direct another group of outsiders.

According to THR “Sources say that Gibson is familiarizing himself with the material. But the studio is not being passive and is also looking at other directors, Daniel Espinosa among them.”

It’s all just a rumour just now but the fact that THR is reporting it means there must be some substance to it.

Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
