Schwarzenegger And Stallone To Reunite For Escape Plan 2

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arnold is in discussions to return for the sequel to 2013’s prison-break film Escape Plan, while Stallone has already signed on to reprise his role as security specialist Ray Breslin.

Beijing-based Leomus Pictures and Emmett/Furla/Oasis have partnered to co-finance and make the film as a China-U.S. co-production, which makes a lot of sense as $40.9 million of the film’s $137 million dollar box office take came from China.

According to Leomus, Escape Plan 2 is expected to feature some Chinese story elements to deepen its local resonance.
