Diamond Cartel Exclusive Footage

Cleopatra Entertainment has set March 24th, 2017 as the theatrical release date for the action/adventure film DIAMOND CARTEL with the VOD rollout on April 4th. Featuring the final appearance by the late, eight time Academy Award© nominee Peter O’Toole, DIAMOND CARTEL stars Emmy Award-winning actor Armand Assante (Gotti/American Gangster) and includes appearances by Michael Madsen (The Hateful 8, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), martial arts superstar Bolo Yeung (Enter The Dragon), Japanese TV and Film veteran Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Kubo And The Two Strings, Memoirs Of A Geisha, Planet Of The Apes) and Japanese-American 11 time professional kickboxing world champion Don “The Dragon” Wilson.

Synopsis: The charismatic and ruthless Mussa makes a deal to purchase the Star of East Diamond from Hong-Kong triad crime boss ‘Mr. Lo’ – but not before being robbed via an inside job by his own people – former lovers Aliya and Ruslan. With the help of a friend determined to ferry the back-stabbing duo of Aliya and Rusian across the sea abroad, the couple nearly makes it across the borders with the loot. But Mussa’s gangsters find them just before they escape, leading to a spectacular, violent finale that sets up the surprise ending!

DIAMOND CARTEL was executive produced by Gamal Diab, produced by Dauren Mussa, directed by Salamat Mukhammed-Ali and filmed entirely in Kazakhstan with an estimated budget in the high seven figure range. The Home Entertainment DVD version will be released thru MVD Entertainment Group on June 13, 2017.
