Henry Cavill Joins Mission: Impossible 6

Well, this is an interesting piece of news but according to Variety the Man of Steel himself Henry Cavill is set to join Tom Cruise in Paramount and Skydance’s next installment in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise.

“Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner are also expected to return, though it’s unknown in what capacity.

Christopher McQuarrie, who directed Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, is back to direct this sixth film from a script he wrote.

Plot details are still under wraps but sources say Cavill would play some sort of a right hand to the head of Cruise’s unit. Alec Baldwin played the role of Cruise’s boss in “Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation” but it is unknown if he will return as the part has been replaced with a new actor (Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Fishburne, Tom Wilkinson) in previous installments.”

I would actually love to see him play a villain as I think he could do something interesting with it.

    I actually love the series.
& I think it’s amazing that they managed to make five good movies.
The one complaining I have is that some of them have lacked a really good villain but other than, they are cool movies.
Have them all on DVD except the last one which I just remember I have never bought.

*Tom Cruise gets a lot of shit but I’m a fan of the guy. While so many guys like Bruce Willis just give up and collect a paycheck and look bored as fuck in every movie , you got to appreciate Cruise for the effort that he puts in his movies.
I mean he’s hanging off fucking airplanes and shit.
I would be like CGI motherfucker CGI…Lol
