Are You Ready for More xXx?

No wait, come back! So apparently we are getting another xXx after the pretty awful Return of Xander Cage. I watched it again a few weeks ago and it really is pretty bad. Anyway, the crew is set to return which I guess means Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa as well as Vin Diesel. Can Tony actually get stuff to do this time? He and Donnie were the only selling points of the movie and Jaa was particularly underused.

According to Variety the Untitled “xXx” sequel would be the fourth in the franchise with Roth and Kirschenbaum. “xXx: Return of Xander Cage,” starring Vin Diesel, Ruby Rose, Donnie Yen and Samuel L. Jackson, grossed nearly $350 million worldwide including $164 million in China. Diesel said in January at the London premiere that Paramount had expressed interest in him starring in the sequel.

Return of Xander Cage only made $44 Million at the US box office and it was international audiences that gave it the worldwide gross of $346,147,658.

Will you watch the next xXx or will you save your cash?

  • Mucho Macho

I actually did not hate the movie. It’s a stupid silly action movie and I think I was not disappointed because I was expecting just that. However Vin Diesel was so in love with himself in the movie it was laughable.

If Vin Diesel is not playing Dominic Toretto, his movies don’t do well in the U.S.
