Face/Off: Crashing the Plane (1997)

“FLY BITCH!” Today marks the 20th anniversary of the John Woo classic Face/Off starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta as an FBI agent and terrorist who swap faces.

To this day it remains a bonkers concept but our two leads are lapping up every moment and the action is superlative as you’d expect.

This scene is one of my favourites as Castor Troy (Cage) is pursued by Sean Archer (Travolta) as he tries to escape in a plane. Today this scene would likely be done using CG and would be nowhere near as impressive.

 Happy 20th Birthday Face/Off!
