Trailer for First Kill with Bruce Willis

Am I the only person who feels kinda bad for Hayden Christensen? He’s had a pretty bum rap since the Star Wars prequels so it’s good to see him in this solid looking action thriller alongside Bruce Willis. Bruno almost looks like he’s in danger of showing some personality in it which would be nice.

Plot: In order to reconnect with his son Danny (Ty Shelton), big shot Wall Street broker Will (Hayden Christensen) takes his family on a hunting trip to the cabin where he grew up. While out hunting with Danny, the trip takes a deadly turn when they stumble upon several robbers and witness the murder of one of the criminals. After becoming entangled in a bank heist gone bad that results in the kidnapping of Danny, Will is forced to help the kidnappers evade the police chief (Bruce Willis) and recover the stolen loot in exchange for his son’s life.

FIRST KILL is in theaters and on demand July 21st, 2017

  • Mucho Macho

The thing about Hayden Christensen is that he did not give a great performance in those Star Wars prequels mainly in part to George Lucas’s direction. I think we all envisioned the actor portraying a young Darth Vader to turn in a great complex performance but in the end his did not measure up.

However for those that are interested he did a good job in the movie “Shattered Glass” where he played a journalist that falls from grace. Hayden is an actor that needs a script and a good director to be decent in something but he’s not one of those actors that can elevate the material on his own.
