New Birth of the Dragon Trailer

It seems somewhat pointless sharing this trailer as I already saw the movie as part of TIFF; if you’re looking for anything resembling historic accuracy then you’d best avoid it.

There were a few fun moments but it’s a far cry from what it could (and should) have been.

Plot: Chronicles the legendary fight between Bruce Lee and Chinese kung fu master Wong Jack Man in 1960’s San Francisco. Opens August 25.

Looks the same to me. Ng was OK but I never felt like he was Bruce Lee. He barely even looked like him either.

  • I am a little bit intrigued, I guess, just to see how well Philip Ng looks and acts like Bruce Lee. Do you think different footage could’ve been added or the movie itself is slightly different now since you last saw at TIFF?
