Brawl in Cell Block 99 Home Video Release

Brawl in Cell Block 99 is one of my favourite action movies of the year and it’s coming to home video on December 26, 2017.

I can’t seem to find any special features at the moment but it’s coming to 4K, Blu-ray and DVD.

SYNOPSIS: In this action thriller, Bradley Thomas is a former boxer turned drug runner who gets sent to prison for seven years after a deal goes badly. Even more unfortunately for him, a drug kingpin then kidnaps his pregnant wife and threatens to harm her and/or his unborn daughter unless Thomas performs a prison hit. This will require him to get transferred from his medium security cell to the maximum security Cell Block 99 to kill a fellow prisoner, which will in turn require a lot of violence despite his desire to live a more pacifistic sort of life now.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it’s a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone.
