What an incredible weekend at Fan Expo 2025! Every year, this event manages to outdo itself, and this year was no exception. The energy was electric, filled with passionate fans, stunning cosplays, and an atmosphere of pure excitement.
The highlight of my entire weekend, without a doubt, was getting to meet three absolute legends. First, I had the immense pleasure of meeting William Shatner! As a lifelong Star Trek fan, shaking the hand of Captain Kirk himself was a dream come true. At the young age of 94, he was as charismatic and engaging as ever, and it was a moment I’ll never forget.
Later, I also had the incredible opportunity to meet Brandon Routh. Seeing the man who brought Superman to life in Superman Returns was truly special. He was incredibly gracious and friendly, and it was fantastic to chat with him. We spoke about his current film Ick, and his time on the CW Superhero shows! He is a living embodiment of Superman!
Lastly, I was able to meet TVs Superman & Lois star Tyler Hoechlin! He very kind and humble. He actually introduced himself to me as Tyler as if I didn’t know who he was! I complemented him on his portrayal of Superman, but we also discussed his film Bigger, where he played a the famous bodybuilder Joe Weider! I found him to be a very open and good-natured man!
Beyond these unforgettable celebrity encounters, Fan Expo 2025 was packed with amazing panels, exclusive merchandise, and a vibrant artist alley where I discovered some truly unique pieces. The variety of vendors and exhibits meant there was always something new and exciting to explore.
The organization of the event was top-notch, with clear signage and helpful staff making navigation easy, even with the massive crowds. It’s clear a lot of effort goes into making this a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. I’m already counting down the days until next year!
