Steven Seagal Won’t Do The Expendables

Steven Seagal has again distanced himself from ever appearing in The Expendables, saying that he “[doesn’t] like some of the people involved”.

The Under Siege star refused to name the cast members he had issues with, but added that he is more likely to set up his own ensemble movie than join Sylvester Stallone’s crew.

“Life is too short to work with funny people,” he told The Big Issue. “There’s good and bad people everywhere and a lot of people in The Expendables I like too. So it’s okay.”
He added: “I like Jason Statham. I like Jet Li, people like that.”

Stallone has admitted to coming to blows with Seagal in the past, saying: “Steven Seagal said that he ‘didn’t associate with that kind of element’ – meaning me. So I slammed him up against a wall.
“At that time, our testosterone was running full bore. He was full of his height and I was full of… Myself. But we made up. He can be very abstract.”
