From December 26 to 28, 2025, Zenless Zone Zero FES was held in grand style in Guangzhou. This was not only the first large-scale offline carnival for HoYoverse’s ARPG game Zenless Zone Zero, but also a carefully crafted immersive experience centered on character storytelling, cultural integration, and interactive engagement. Zenless Zone Zero FES Animation CM | Shining Eridu
The animated CM Shining Eridu, themed “No worries allowed inside, only laughter and immersion,” invites players from afar to gather and fully enjoy this dazzling celebration. The animation features several popular characters from Zenless Zone Zero, including Anby Demara, Astra Yao, Ellen Joe, Hoshimi Miyabi, Asaba Harumasa, and more. Dressed in band outfits, they appear as a musical group and deliver a vibrant and energetic performance for the audience.
Bassist: Ellen Joe
At the Zenless Zone Zero 2025 FES event, Ellen Joe made a stunning appearance as the band’s bassist. She wore a stage outfit that blends shark-inspired elements with a musical theme, featuring a black base with bright accents, and performed with a custom bass guitar decorated with shark motifs, showcasing a strong sense of stage fashion. Her red-streaked hair and bold makeup further enhanced her charm. On stage, she performed passionately with the other members, displaying both her musical talent and vibrant energy.
Keyboardist: Hoshimi Miyabi
Hoshimi Miyabi made a stunning appearance as the band’s cool and elegant keyboardist. She wore a dark-toned outfit accented with silver metallic details, featuring sharp tailoring that also conveyed a strong sense of stage movement. Her calm yet resolute gaze and long straight black hair preserved the essence of Hoshimi Miyabi’s character. The contrast of an “ice beauty” passionately playing the keyboard creates a unique and captivating charm.

Drummer: Anby Demara
Anby Demara appears as a punk-style drummer. Guitarist: Asaba Harumasa
Asaba Harumasa appears as a laid-back and free-spirited rock guitarist, featuring a blue-and-yellow contrasting color scheme as the main palette. The event featured meticulously recreated versions of several classic in-game locations, such as Sixth Street, Random Play, Yum Cha Sin, Dew Gardening Flower Shop, and Gravity Cinema. These sets were restored with near one-to-one accuracy, immersing players in the world of the game. As visitors stepped into the venue and saw these familiar scenes and facilities, a deep sense of connection and belonging naturally emerged.
Various interactive mini-games were also incorporated into these environments. For instance, at the Random Play section, players could draw movie titles and hand over the corresponding video cassette cards to the front desk, stepping into the role of the store owner searching for tapes—adding both fun and a deeper sense of immersion. In addition, character cosplayers appeared throughout the venue, bringing figures such as Nicole, Nekomata, Anby, Astra Yao, and Kaku Fuku to life as they emerged from familiar settings to interact with attendees. This seamless blend of virtual and real worlds broke down the boundaries between the game and reality, allowing players to truly experience the joy of coming face to face with their favorite characters.
Music Feast: A Catalyst for Emotional Resonance
Music is one of the standout highlights of Zenless Zone Zero, and it played an even more important role at the FES event. The event invited multiple well-known singers and EP vocalists to perform live, delivering a four-hour musical feast for players, including a 1.5-hour electronic music set and a 2-hour vocal performance segment.
Rather than being a simple compilation of songs, the concert was deeply integrated with game characters and storylines. Over 50 tracks were featured, covering character background music (BGM) and EPs, forming a unique emotional resonance loop. This deep connection between music and the game allows players not only to enjoy the performances, but also to recall memorable moments from the game, further strengthening their emotional attachment to the IP.
