Today is the last day of the Toronto Fan Expo and we finished with a bang; I met Christopher Lloyd and we talked about the Nobody movies and he was delighted that I loved them. We also talked about his older film called The Dream Team with Michael Keaton as it had some nice moments of pathos. I got a photo with Mr. Lloyd and his autograph too.
Other highlights included meeting the ladies of Smallville – Laura Vandervoort, Kristin Kreuk and Erica Durance who were all lovely.
Hailee Steinfeld from Sinners and Hawkeye was also very nice although there was very little chat which was a shame.
I really liked meeting John Boyega who took time to chat with everyone and I enjoyed wearing my Last Jedi t-shirt just to annoy people. It didn’t go as planned as the film has its fans and one of them commented how he loved my shirt.
All in all this was another cracking Fan Expo with the hard working staff and volunteers keeping everything together amidst the chaos with some amazing fans who are all there for their love of pop culture. See you next year!
