This weekend The Action Elite is in Niagara Falls covering the Frightmare in the Falls horror convention. Richard Dreyfuss was meant to show up to celebrate 50 years of Jaws. He was also supposed to come last year and didn’t bother and now this weekend he didn’t show up either, disappointing all his fans.
Thankfully, the legendary Tom Atkins made the effort to come and see the fans and he was awesome. We discussed John Carpenter and he said that he is one of the all-time great movie directors and I obviously agreed.
I got an autograph and a few pictures with him and my brother, Ed. I wanted to talk some more with him but it got so busy that we may go back tomorrow and chat some more.
