Indie Feature: Scottish WWII Movie Dick Dynamite: 1944

The mad WWII movie made for the price of a second hand Skoda featuring cast members from Trainspotting, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and James Bond. It’s rude, crude, loud, violent and gory! And very, very funny.

‘Dick Dynamite:1944’ is a Scottish production of an over the top WWII movie that has been gaining momentum since filming began back in 2019. Despite the films grass-roots and punk rock edge, the movie boasts cameos from the likes of Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting author), Clive Russell (Game of Thrones/Thor), Noah Hathaway (The Never-ending Story), Nick Oliveri from Queens of the Stone Age, Dick Valentine from Electric 6, Lars Frederickson from Rancid and guys from bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Korn, Biohazard, Agnostic Front, Sleaford Mods and many more.

The film was written, Directed & edited by Robbie ‘Steedo’ Davidson, more known for his guitar duties with the likes of Scots punk legends ‘The Exploited’ as well as his own band Certain Death. Having also worked in Television, Robbie also helps run charity based film & music workshops for kids.
