Asif Akbar’s actioner MR-9 Do or Die starring ABM Sumon, Frank Grillo and Michael Jai White is getting a sequel called MR-9: Sky Dancer. It will be based on the second book in the Masud Rana novel series by Qazi Anwar Hussein and the story will be set in new locations around the world.
ABM Sumon will be returning as the title character of MR-9 along with some old and new cast to join. Casting is also currently underway.
The poster is being revealed by Avail Entertainment at the Cannes Market currently. It will be getting physically revealed at the Avail Entertainment booth at J10 in the Riviera today with Director Asif Akbar present as the pre-sales for the film will begin at this market.
The film is due for release in 2025.
