In the vein of “Unforgiven meets Hang ‘Em High,” the film concerns a violent gunslinger (Bronzi) who begins seeing visions of Hell and his own mortality and believes his only path for redemption is to donate his hidden, ill-gotten fortune to save a beautiful nun’s orphanage. However, when he is ambushed, left for dead, and his loot stolen, he sets out for revenge, with a determined sheriff (Paré) hot on his trail.
Bronzi and Paré previously teamed up for successful western Once Upon a Time in Deadwood.
Bury ‘Em Deep also stars Zanna Wyant (Loose Change), Kevin Karrick (Justified Force), Gabriella Goldstein (Agent of Solitude), Ray D’Ambrosio (Ultra Red), and Jim Woodbury (The Longest Run).
Michael Fredianelli (A Perfect Hand, Easy Targets) directs from a screenplay by Eric Zaldivar, based on a story by Zaldivar and Mike Malloy. Producers are Maralynn Adams (First Rites) and Fredianelli. Executive producer is Jeff Miller (12 to Midnight).
Bury ‘Em Deep is a co-production between Millman Productions and Wild Dogs Productions.
Uncork’d Entertainment has North American rights and will release the film on streaming sites on July 8th as well as a DVD release at a later date. Glass House Distribution has foreign rights.
