As the Niagara Falls Comic Con comes to a close after another successful year I couldn’t resist buying a few awesome t-shirts and a whole bunch of physical media. First off is this rather amazing Death Wish 3 shirt followed by a beautiful Terminator t-shirt in a cool synthwave style – I had to have it.
I mentioned in the gaming area post that I was looking for the SNES game of Batman Returns which I was able to get today. I look forward to reuniting with it as it was a favourite of mine growing up in the 90s.
I was finally able to get the Blu-ray special edition of Cyborg which I’d had my eye on for a while, but seeing it in person means I had to just pull the trigger and buy it. I’ve always liked Deep Star Six too and wanted to pick that up, so I got Kino’s fantastic Blu-ray. I couldn’t resist getting the VHS of Best of the Best 2 which was only $5. I already have it on Blu-ray but I just need to have it, anyway.
I picked up the Buck Rogers Blu-ray Collection for my brother as this was another show from our childhood we have fond memories of.
Finally, I want to give a shout-out to all the wonderful people the Comic Con including the volunteers, vendors and fellow fans. Brian, if you’re reading this it was a pleasure to meet you and to see your moving interaction with Michael Ironside. I also want to thank my friends, J-Man, Stephen and Amanda for joining me and we shall you all at the party again next year.
