We’re sad to report that Aki Aleong has passed away at 90 years of age after battling dementia. He had roles in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), starring Jason Scott Lee, The Quest alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in The Quest and then again in Pound of Flesh.
He also starred in Abduction, Deadly Target, Savage Dog, Sci-Fighter, No Down Payment, Braddock: Missing in Action III, and many, many more as well as having a singing career.
I was lucky enough to meet Aki back in 2016 at the premiere of Pound of Flesh; he just walked over and we started chatting and he gave me his business card. he was an absolute gent and will be missed.
