We’re sad to report that Lee Tamahori who directed Die Another Day, Once Were Warriors, The Edge, Next, The Devil’s Double, Along Came a Spider, XXX: State of the Union, Mulholland Falls and more has passed away at age 75 due to Parkinson’s Disease.
Variety states “His legacy endures with his whānau, his mokopuna, every filmmaker he inspired, every boundary he broke and every story he told with his genius eye and honest heart,” the family said in a statement to New Zealand public service broadcaster RNZ.
