We’re sad to report that John Carpenter and Walter Hill regular Peter Jason has passed away at the age of 80 after a battle with cancer.
Jason had an incredible career with roles in movies like The Driver, Marked for Death, Escape From L.A., They Live, Ghosts of Mars, Red Heat, 48 Hrs., Johnny Handsome, Deadwood, Undisputed and many more.
On X, John Carpenter called him “one of the great character actors in cinema … he was a dear friend and I’ll miss him terribly.”
