We’ve all been there; we’re trying to take care of business with some quality “me time” and then someone comes in and tries to kill you. It’s happened to me twice this past week alone. Let’s take a look at some iconic action scenes and fights that literally went down the toilet.
Upgrade (2018) – Bathroom Beatdown Scene
This movie doesn’t get enough love but Upgrade is awesome and I love this scene when STEM takes over.
Blood & Bone (2009): Prison Bathroom Fight
Michael Jai White faces off against Kimbo Slice and several other goons and it does not end well for them.
Jack Ryan: Bathroom Fight
I loved the Jack Ryan television Series and it had some great action scenes; one of them includes this bathroom brawl.
Ninja Assassin – Bathroom Fight Scene
I think I’m one of the 2 people that actually enjoys this movie, but I thought this was an effective bathroom showdown.
Bathroom Fight Scene: Carry On (2024)
This was a solid little potboiler and Jason Bateman makes for an effective bad guy; he always seems to have the upper hand and this scene is no different.
Faster (2010) – Fight in the bathroom
Faster is still my favouite Dwayne Johnson movie and I wish he did more badass roles like this. This isn’t a long scene but it’s still effective.
Jack Reacher (2012)
Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) fights for his life against two opponents in a bathroom in this rather comedic beatdown.

Now on to the real Reacher and this prison fight scenes shows that Alan Ritchson is not to be trifled with.
John Wick (2014) Bath House Beatdown
A fight unfolds in a bathroom where John Wick faces off against multiple opponents using both hand-to-hand combat and weaponry, highlighting his lethal skills and proving he is the Baba Yaga.
True Lies (1994)
Arnie uses his special glasses to see he is about to be attacked by some assailants. Note the poor guy just sitting reading the paper only to have his pants ruined.
The Punisher – Season 2: Bathroom Fight Scene
Jon Bernthal is a force of nature as Frank Castle and this is a profoundly satisfying at the beginning of season 2 of The Punisher.
The Man From Nowhere (2010)
This is one of my personal favourite movies and the bathroom fight scene is one of the most memorable scenes from a bit of a modern classic.
The Warriors (1978): Toilet Trouble
Walter Hill’s classic gang movie features a showdown in a shitter.
Bad Boys (1995): Bathroom Battle
No one ever mentions this scene where Martin Lawrence is trying to drain the weasel and then some thugs try to kill him.
Casino Royale (2006): Bathroom Fight
Daniel Craig’s introduction as James Bond demonstrates this is 007 at his most brutal. The bathroom fight between Bond and a villain reveals the raw, gritty side of the spy world.
The Raid 2: Berandal (2014): Bathroom Fight
Rama can’t get a minute’s piece without an entire prison trying to break into his cubicle.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003): Bathroom Fight
It’s Arnie vs. Kristanna’s Loken’s T-X as the two Terminators battle for domination while also destroying perfectly good facilities. Imagine sitting in there scrolling Instagram and they come in and interrupt you… rude.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018): Bathroom Fight
This fight became instantly iconic with Henry Cavill reloading his “guns” before bringing the pain to various assailants.
