Spiritwalker proved to be an enormous hit at film festivals all over the world, including the London East Asia Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, where it won Best Film, and the New York Asian Film Festival where it earned the Daniel A. Craft Award for Excellence in Action Cinema. A Hollywood remake is already in the works from Transformers and G. I. Joe producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura who said, “Spiritwalker is one of the most innovative action films with unexpected action sequences that I’ve seen in a few years.
