International action star and former Mr. Universe Alexander Nevsky (Black Rose) is making new thriller THE OMINOUS, to be directed by and co-starring Joe Cornet (Gunfight at Rio Bravo). Production will start in February 2024.
ITN Studios’ Stuart Alson and Nicole Holland (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey) will serve as executive producers and will coordinate international distribution.
Nick Baillie (The Dead Zone), Tatiana Neva (Taken from Rio Bravo) and Kerry Goodwin (Promise) will co-star. Casting is underway in Los Angeles.
Story takes place in Hollywood and centers on a screenwriter, who decides to investigate unsolved murder and, unknowingly, wakes up mysterious supernatural forces.
Craig Hamann (Showdown in Manila) wrote the script. Film is executive produced by Eric Brenner (Crazy Heart), John Fallon (Braek), Cornet and Douglas “Fini” Finical. Alexander Nevsky is producing through his Hollywood Storm production banner.
