This is one of my favourite John McClane moments and is also a good line any time someone you’re into tells you they want to be just friends; in response you can throw them into a plane engine while quoting McClane… and you can laugh all the way to prison.
In this climactic scene McClane is fighting Grant (John Amos) who had pretended he was good guy to help his cronies escape. The bastard. Well no sequel for you, Grant!
