Classic Old School Action in Comic Book Form!
Summary
Collision Force Issue #2 is packed with even more crazy action than the first issue with chainsaws, rocket launchers and guns, oh my! If you love old-school action with badass heroes then you should eat this right up.
Plot: COLLISION FORCE, a team of elite soldiers formed in the aftermath of 9/11, ferreted out and eliminated any terrorist threats to the United States without hesitation or mercy. Lars Bowman led Collision Force with unrelenting patriotism, love for his teammates, and a seething hatred for any threats to American freedom. The team gained a legendary reputation through their resolute commitment to protecting America by any means necessary.
Following a catastrophic mission in the early 2010s that forced the team to go underground, Lars Bowman and Chi Diakese continued to fight terror in the shadows.
In issue #1, the team was pulled from retirement to face an enigmatic new threat bent on killing their leader, Lars Bowman.
Now, Collision Force is challenged by the THIRD PILLAR, a horde of Communist terrorists seeking vengeance against Lars and Chi for taking out their leader years ago.
Review: If you’re a regular visitor to this website then you’ll likely remember we covered the first issue of Collision Force when it came out a while back. Well, the second issue is coming soon and I have never wanted to see a comic adapted into live action more in my life.
Lars and the gang are back and more badass than ever as as they decimate their enemies with rocket launchers, chainsaws and more. One epic sequence has Lars and his half dog/half coyote Ripper jump on to an enemy chopper with a chainsaw and takes out the trash. I’m not normally a big comic book guy as you know however, this is definitely my kinda stuff with lots of graphic violence, cool characters and moments of epic badassery.
Collision Force is constant action rarely slowing down, but we do get some character moments like Lars telling his team to retire while he keeps doing the work. This of course causes a bit of a rift which I’m sure will be explored further in later editions. Part 3 is coming in 2027 and will be called All Guns Blazing. Bring it on!

Overall, Issue #2 of Collision Force is packed with testosterone and a huge bodycount with epic kills and badass characters. Bring on Issue #3!
