The Justice Hour is an Argentine action, drama, and thriller feature film set in the city of Rosario, Argentina. The film is directed and stars Fabricio Martin, who also co-produces the film with Aylen Ruiz Migone. Fabricio Martin has worked in action cinema since 2004 as a stuntman and fight choreographer, participating in national and international films, television series, and commercials. Alongside his work in the action field, he developed his career as an independent director and producer, making his first feature film in 2006, Benjamin, an Argentine martial arts film. His career has allowed him to understand the genre from both sides of the camera, combining the physical and technical experience of action with filmmaking.
PLOT: Years after the murder of his wife, Victor, a former police officer haunted by guilt and consumed by his search for justice, receives a lead that could change everything. His search will take him into a world of violence, danger, and confrontations where every decision could be his last.
ACTION CINEMA IN ARGENTINA
Unlike other markets where action cinema has a more established tradition and a more consistent production, Argentina has relatively few films that take the genre as their main focus. National productions often incorporate action elements as part of their stories, but few films are built around action, stunt work, and professional stunt performers. It is within this context that Victory Cine operates. Founded in 2005, the production company has spent more than two decades developing independent cinema, particularly in the action and martial arts genres. The Justice Hour represents a new stage in that ongoing journey.
THE JUSTICE HOUR
The story follows Victor, a former police officer who, years after the murder of his wife, receives a new lead connected to the crime. During his search, he encounters Camila, a young woman whose situation introduces an emotional dimension to the story and takes the protagonist into an increasingly dangerous situation. The cast includes Fabricio Martin, Miguel Angel Welinton, Sophia Virgili, Martin Mazzucchelli, Sofia Baronio, Akol, and Facundo Munizaga, among others. The film was shot over “15 shooting days”, with a small production structure and a team of specialized stunt performers handling the action sequences.
The film also received the collaboration and participation of Film Action Arg, an Argentine school dedicated to stunt fighter training. The Justice Hour is currently in the editing and post-production stage. Once completed, it will begin its journey through international film festivals, following in the footsteps of previous works by Fabricio Martin that have been presented at various festivals. The film is scheduled for release in 2027. With The Justice Hour, Victory Cine continues to develop a relatively uncommon proposition within Argentine cinema: an independent production built around action and professional stunt work.
